It would seem that a few of you have been proven correct. I, in fact, no longer view this street as a complete waste of space. I would go as far as even saying that I no longer consider it focal point of a colossal magical catastrophe. All of the strange happenings around here now officially amuse me.

I spent the afternoon purchasing lunches for Mudblo unfortunates this afternoon because it was fun to see them after ingesting the spicy food in order to celebrate my change of heart.

I am outraged, you hear me? Outraged. Mind you, I am not one for defending the weak and such, but this news about a group looking to remove unicorns from endangered protection so that they can kill and eat them bothers me on a level that I do not care to detail. I have always thought unicorns were majestic creatures and I would like to own one. I had horses as a child and expensive as they were, unicorns are s Anyway, this Feston character needs to be investigated by the Ministry if he knows how they taste. I doubt any living Wizard remembers a time before they were protected, which means he has broken the law. Or he is lying. If he has killed them once, I doubt he stopped at just one, either.

Perhaps they could hunt MUDbloods.

I agree with the old bat, you can't censor history just because a few people get uptight about being called a Mudblood. What will they change it to, anyway? "Wizards and Witches of Muggle Origin?" That would certainly make a few famous quotes seem much less harsh and evil. By all means, Mr Wankingtons, make them all seem much less threatening to our youth so that they discard concerns for the past. This, after all, is the first step to allowing history to repeat itself.

I personally do not see a problem with the word. Why do mudbl muggleborns even find it offensive? After all, Pureblood and Half-blood are accepted and there are no complaints. It just keeps with the naming schema. Would they prefer Muggle-blood? Or is that offensive, too? Some people are just too sensitive. Next thing you know, we will be calling squibs the "Magically Challenged" and house elves will be known as "Diminutive Indentured Servants."

Odd statues all about AND those loonies are back shouting again. Every day is a fun new surprise. Speaking of surprises, I hope Potter is enjoying his morning doorstep treats. Today's position is called The Creeping Vine. I think I shall stay inside today and enjoy some tea. Anyone read any good books lately?

This place is cursed! Why do any of you people choose to live on this bloody lane, with all of its magical hiccups? Salazar save me. The minute, nay the second, they tell me I may choose to move somewhere else, I am going to put this sodding place as far behind me as possible.

I see madness has gone mainstream during my absence. There's a few loonies moving about Diagon this morning, shouting and handing out pamphlets. Magic is going against God? God. Really. What reading I've done on the subject seems to lend credence that God, if you follow Creationism, created Man and Woman from base objects and, well, basically created all things. If that is not a fine use of Magic, I don't know what is. It makes for an interesting argument.

Did I mention I didn't have much else to do than read over the last few years?

I appears I get to grace the lot of you with my written word. It's been awhile, has it not? I'm sure you all missed me a great deal. Who all can read these things, anyway? It would be a good idea to know my public.

Regardless, living away from my ancestral home and chatting with the faceless public is apparently part of my penance. The best part of it all is that I get to live next to everyone's favourite hero, Mister Harry Potter himself. A blessing in disguise, I'm sure.

I'm going to have to send out a few owls to get things a little more straightened out, though. I cannot comfortably dwell in such a sparse flat. All things considered, however, it is a bit more spacious than my previous residence. There is that. It's quite nice to see the outdoors, after all is said and done.

Nymphadora, it was good to spend some time with you after my release. You're looking well. I hear you've spawned a nice little half-breed. Does he take after you or his father? Great genes, really, all around. I've always been fond of puppies.

Can't say I really knew the other Auror they burdened me with. Carmichael, I think he introduced himself as. Something such. Nice bloke, really. Could use a better wardrobe, not that I could say anything at the time, honestly. If anyone knows him, let him know I'd be glad to send him to a few tailors I know.

Kingsley's put on some weight since you all put down the Dark L You Know Who. Good riddance, really. Fellow had a few things loose, I don't mind saying. Truly, there are better ways with dealing with Mudbloods than having them killed or tortured. After all, house elves are only so efficient.

Anyway, I'm losing interest in this project already, so I will put down the quill and go for a stroll in this lovely British weather. I will be keeping an eye out for old friends! I'll be sure to say hello and such if I see anyone I remember.
